☕️ Originating in Sangenjaya, OBSCURA is one of the leading third-wave coffee shops in Tokyo, perfect for grabbing a high-quality cup of coffee while strolling and shopping!
When talking about OBSCURA with people in the Tokyo coffee scene, it’s almost impossible to find someone who doesn’t know about it. This branch is located on the bustling Chazawa Street in Sangenjaya, with its understated stylish black exterior that makes you want to stop and take a look.
At a nearby branch, there are seats available, but this branch only offers takeout options. They also have a full range of products such as coffee beans, drip bags, and gift boxes.
In addition to the daily coffee (hot), lattes, and daily iced coffee, this branch offers hand-dripped coffee as well! Some premium coffee beans are available for an additional charge.
Every time I pass by, I quickly grab a cup of the daily coffee, and I have never been disappointed—every type of bean they serve is excellent.
Additionally, each shop has its unique hand-drawn postcards, so be sure to ask the staff for one if you get the chance!
