🎉 Yilan Family Ramen 🎉
🎉 Popular Delicious Food in Luodong 🎉
This place in Yilan Luodong is known for its long queues, and at meal times, there's always a crowd waiting. This time we avoided the peak dining hours, but we still had a bit of a wait 😆 There are a row of chairs at the entrance for those who have been waiting for a while, which is quite considerate 😆
Since we went after the main dining hours, many items were sold out, so we ordered the restaurant's signature rich white soup and the highly recommended Soul Black 😋 All the ramen in the shop can be customized, such as choosing thin or medium noodles, the hardness of the noodles, the richness of the broth, and the types of meat (shoulder or pork belly) 🤩 There's also a seasoning area in the middle of the restaurant where you can get ice water, and the shop has a special vinegar for those who love vinegar to enhance the flavor 😁
Rich White Soup: (Japanese flavor, thin noodles)
I don't usually drink the broth, so I chose Japanese flavor with extremely hard thin noodles. It looked really good, and after taking a sip of the soup, the rich bone broth was quite tasty, with a slightly gelatinous texture but not overly salty. 👍 The char siu was perfectly balanced between fat and lean, with great flavor and texture.👌
Soul Black: (Mild flavor, thin noodles)
When it arrived, it was full of energy; the black garlic flavor was rich, and the mild broth paired well with the black garlic. It tasted just right 👍 The slight charred aroma gives it an adult flavor 😆 The grilled char siu added an extra layer of fragrance, very nice. 😌
Karaage Chicken:
Freshly fried chicken thigh chunks, with skin for extra crispiness. There's a hint of soy sauce flavor, and when you take a bite, the juices burst out, very well fried. 👍
To summarize:
Since the restaurant requires you to queue in person, no reservations can be made, so you may have to wait a bit during meal times. 😊 The shop is located next to the Luodong Cultural Factory, making parking very convenient. After a hearty meal, you can take a stroll there to check out some artist exhibitions, which is quite nice.
