During the summer, Lanyu is very hot, and I often want to have ice cream halfway through a bike ride. If you are in places north of Kaiyuan Harbor, you can come to Bayang to enjoy some ice.
This time, I ordered the lemon summer shaved ice, which comes with condensed milk. The special thing about this ice is that the lemon cream or butter that you would find on a lemon tart is directly added on top of it, making it feel like you’re eating a lemon tart in your shaved ice. Plus, eating a sour ice treat in the summer makes it easier to keep having more without feeling overwhelmed by sweetness, which can stop you from wanting to eat.
Besides the ice, the shop also offers other desserts, main dishes, and drinks. Additionally, since the shop operates in a hybrid style, you can even find hair braiding services here. There is also a cute Doberman in the shop, who is very friendly, so there’s no need to be afraid (even though she is quite big🤣).
