The Three Monkeys Gourmet Kitchen is a charming little restaurant filled with a fun atmosphere. The overall style is relaxed and cozy, with a neon pizza light on the wall that is very eye-catching, creating a cheerful vibe as soon as you walk in. The seating inside is spacious and comfortable, equipped with children’s chairs, making it very family-friendly. The self-service area is clean and tidy, offering lemon water, utensils, and various condiments like chili powder, pepper, and Tabasco, as well as convenient hand gloves for grabbing food, which is thoughtful and handy. The restroom is also kept quite clean, making the overall space feel very comfortable.
The pizzas here are handmade by the New Zealand owner, reflecting her continuation and sharing of the flavors from her hometown, with unique tastes and genuine ingredients. This time, we ordered a double pizza, choosing the "Three Monkeys Signature" and "Spicy Honey American Sausage," both popular flavors. The signature pizza is richly topped with ham, bacon, onions, black olives, and green peppers; you can taste the abundance of ingredients in every bite. The honey bacon, on the other hand, offers a balance of sweet and salty, with the honey aroma perfectly blending with the crispy bacon, making a lasting impression.
For sides, we ordered spicy wave fries with bacon cheese sauce and New York spicy chicken wings. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; topped with spicy cheese and mayonnaise, they offer a great layered flavor, although the sauces were a bit heavy and overwhelmed the taste of the fries. If I come back, I’d ask the owner to put less sauce. The chicken wings have a crispy skin with a tangy and spicy sauce that is appetizing, and enjoying them with chilled cola is very satisfying. Overall, I was pleased, but next time I would swap either the fries or wings for a salad to achieve a more balanced meal in terms of flavor and nutrition.
The owner personally greets guests in the dining area, displaying warmth and enthusiasm, and is very patient from ordering to serving the food, contributing to a very pleasant dining experience.
In terms of pricing, it is quite affordable, and the portions are generous, making it suitable for both a couple's meal or a family gathering. This is a pizza place with warmth and a story, where one can eat well and happily.
