Nameless Steak is located on Section 1 of Nankang Road, next to the Nankang Exhibition Center station. It originally started a few years ago on Zhongpo North Road in Songshan and later relocated to Nankang due to an incident. The owner is quite a character and has an interesting story to tell.
Today, I took out NZ filet steak, a master chef's top cut steak, and pan-seared cherry duck breast with duck breast, totaling about 1550 NTD.
NZ Filet Steak:
New Zealand filet steak, medium rare. The beef is very juicy, with an incredibly tender texture inside. The medium-rare cooking level complements this quality of beef perfectly. The slightly charred outer skin does not affect the inner texture; instead, it adds a harmonious style.
Master Chef's Top Cut Steak:
This cut is from the top part along the membrane of the ribeye, cooked medium. The fat is evenly distributed, and the texture is very tender. It is also a delightful experience to bite into it, releasing the savory juices.
Pan-Seared Cherry Duck Breast:
The duck breast is so delicious that I ordered an extra portion. The pan-seared duck skin has a strong aroma, and the duck meat is tender and juicy. The duck breast part is completely boneless, allowing you to fully enjoy the delightful feast the duck provides for your palate, which is very satisfying.
In addition to the meats, it comes with fries, salad, drinks, and soup. These are items available at the self-service bar in the store.
However, those are not the main focus, and I was too lazy to take pictures of the takeout. Of course, none of it was unappetizing. The fries remain crispy even after taking them home, and the chowder and beef soup each have their unique characteristics, but both exhibit strong flavors.
Overall, the owner's skills have not diminished in the years since the fire forced relocation to Nankang. Fair prices and exquisite craftsmanship make it definitely worth a special visit. Although the owner has a rather unique personality (as seen from the Facebook page), who cares about that when enjoying delicious food?
Highly recommended for everyone!
