Taipei-Zhongshan Junior High School Station [Japanese Set Meal] just opened in April this year. It is recommended to order the set meal because the side dishes included are delicious! (The boss said he opened the shop because he likes to make side dishes XD)
✨Ginger roasted pork set meal NT$ 190 (a la carte NT$ 120)
The ginger roast has just the right flavor and goes well with rice. The pork is sprinkled with chopped green onions and minced onions, and paired with shredded cabbage, which balances the overall flavor and is very refreshing.
✨Teriyaki chicken thigh set meal NT$ 190 (a la carte NT$ 120)
The chicken has been marinated first and is delicious. The chicken skin has a bit of charcoal grill flavor. It is decorated with honey mustard sauce and lemon slices, and is also served with shredded cabbage.
Served with side dishes and soup:
✨Pleurotus eryngii with green sauce: This side dish is so delicious! The aroma of the nine-story pagoda is a perfect match with the refreshing and crispy King Oyster Mushroom!
✨Onion and bean sprouts: This dish is a bit ordinary, but it is very refreshing to eat in summer.
✨Kelp and Enoki Mushroom Soup: Average, not much memorable.
▶️ Environment: The dining environment is large and there are many seats. There are 7 tables for two people, 6 tables for four people, and 6 table tables for one person. Recently, I just took the menu on the right hand side and went to find a seat to fill it out. I went to the counter to order and pay first (cash only, and you can’t pay for the vehicle without invoicing). Free boiled water is provided for self-service. In addition, the toilet is very clean and sanitary napkins are provided thoughtfully.
🚩 Conclusion:
Overall, it is a highly recommended restaurant. It is almost full during the peak time at noon on weekdays.
The side dishes change every day, so I would like to try a la carte side dishes next time I come! In addition, you can refill the rice and soup (clear soup).
