Previously, there was a vegetarian restaurant nearby that I really liked to visit. The prices are considered affordable for this area, and the food is delicious. Although it's vegetarian, the flavors are not bland, making it a very popular spot during meal times. Sometimes there are no seats in the dining area, and you may have to wait, plus many people take out their orders.
This time, I happened to be nearby and wanted to revisit it. On Saturday noon, there weren't too many people, and the dining area was air-conditioned with free water available for self-service. There was also a restroom for use.
I recommend the three-cup lion’s mane mushroom rice. There are many types of vegetables, and the overall portion is generous. I even specifically requested half the amount of rice, yet I still felt very full. The lion’s mane mushroom is very flavorful, with a stronger taste, but not overly salty, making it a perfect pairing with rice. This dish is often one of the first to sell out.
I also ordered spicy stinky tofu. One piece of stinky tofu that isn’t overwhelming, and it’s not very spicy. For someone like me who doesn’t usually handle spice well, it almost felt non-spicy. It comes topped with pickled vegetables, but this dish is quite salty, suitable for those who enjoy stronger flavors; I felt I needed rice to accompany it.
I also recommend the tomato soup, which is simmered to a rich consistency, but since I was already very full, I didn’t order it this time.
For those who want to try vegetarian food but worry about it not being tasty, this is a place worth trying; you may realize that vegetarian food can be quite delicious!
