My mother likes Indian food and people who have tried it also recommend it, so I came to try it.
I can share my dining experience with you on several levels:

  1. I don’t know if it is due to construction, so the overall environment is a little messy, and the air conditioner inside is very cold. It is best to bring a thin coat when dining.
  2. The taste is authentic and has been certified by family members who have been to India. The clerk can speak Chinese/English, so ordering is no problem, but the serving speed is slow, so don’t order on an empty stomach (personal experience).
  3. Generally speaking, it is a good idea to eat wisely but not full, or if you want to try a variety of things, you can find more people to share. Since it is mainly a la carte, the consumption amount is high and the portion is not large.
  4. Curry is my favorite among the dishes I ordered this time! Spinach and chicken curry also contains green cardamom, so it tastes refreshing and has the aroma of Indian food. The spiced rice is softer than what I have eaten before (I was impressed). There is a big chili pepper lying in the soup before the meal. It is really spicy and makes me cry. Come out, and others can refer to the photo notes.

The internal environment layout, in fact, there are not many tables, most of them are four-seater.
Mango Yogurt Milkshake 130 Marsala is sprinkled on top, and mango is mixed with mango puree and yogurt. The taste is really indescribable.
Indian Lentil Soup95 Lentils are beans that look pink and look like sweet potatoes when cooked. They are very appetizing!
Cream scones 75 Scones ⋯Good little pieces QQ I wanted to clean the bowl with the buttered naan and curry, but I was so hungry that I ate half of the pancake before the curry came. QQ
Garlic spice mutton curry 410 and spinach chicken curry 380 Yes, you read it right, his curry is served a la carte, and it is about the size of a small bowl. It tastes good, but as I like to measure CP value, I can only say that it won’t hurt if I have to raise my salary again.
Indian mutton rice 395 What’s in the camera is dad’s hungry hands XD The rice is very fragrant and the meat is stewed deliciously😋

【Foodholic乃子@台北】 「TAJ 泰姬印度餐廳」提供正統的北印度料理，老闆是巴基斯坦人，所有師傅都是從印度禮聘來台，是一家通過清真認證的餐廳 位於忠孝復興站附近，距離5號出口走路約6分鐘，店面外觀有著大大的螢光綠色字體，相當顯眼，店內裝潢真的很有印度風情，放的歌也都是印度歌 星期五晚上6:30左右整間店幾乎滿座，如果想來用餐的人強烈建議要先訂位，以免撲空 碳烤餅 我們點了原味$65、奶油$70、蒜泥$80三種口味，每份有四片，很適合沾咖哩吃，其實原味的就很好吃，但我最愛蒜泥，蒜味香氣撲鼻，趁熱吃最讚 印度咖哩餃(2顆)$100 個頭蠻大的，外皮炸到有點硬，需要費點力，內頭是滿滿的馬鈴薯泥加一些蔬菜(?)，總之我有看到青豆，吃起來蠻膩的，建議沾點番茄醬會比較解膩，這道不會再點 泰姬火紅乳酸碳烤雞(半份/4塊)$300 這道是招牌，實際吃了之後認可這個招牌，雖然價格偏高，但很值得，雖然看起來很紅，但不太會辣，調味一級棒，雞肉肉質相當嫩，還保有雞汁 彩椒香料咖哩雞$350 裡頭有青椒和甜椒，但個人覺得椒味不會太重，主要還是香料咖哩的味道，微辣，雞肉很大塊，肉質一樣不乾柴，這道好吃，可以點 優格咖哩乾酪球$320 咖哩口味帶點甜，乾酪球跟想像中不一樣，本來以為是起司球，但其實是有點像馬鈴薯泥加蔬菜泥的東西，個人不愛，咖哩本身也不是我愛的重鹹口味，不會再點 菠菜咖哩羊$350 是今天三道咖哩中最喜歡的，我其實不愛菠菜，但這個菠菜咖哩有夠好吃，其實沒什麼菜味，羊肉大塊夠嫩，沒什麼羊騷味，不管沾烤餅或配白飯都很好吃 印度奶茶(冰)$100 今天的最愛耶!奶味和茶味融合得剛剛好，沒有誰搶過誰，喝起來是很濃醇的滋味，根本絕配，很大一杯才$100，根本贏過超過咖啡廳的鍋煮奶茶 甜味拉西(優格飲)$110 朋友點的，我有喝一口，喝起來是優酪乳但又多了一股很強烈的香料味，個人不太愛，還是保守的奶茶適合我

A not too big restaurant owned by an Indian family but serving not only Indian food.Beside Indian dishes also mediterranean cuisine is offered. Like pasta, pizza or Greek food. In general I am not a big fan of restaurants offering such a wide span of different dishes as often the quality suffers from it. Therefore, I went with an Indian dish because of the owners roots. The mutton shahi korma was quite good. The lamb was of good quality and prepared well and soft. The sauce was of good and balanced taste but could have had a bit more power. At a previous visit I had the butter chicken which was good too. Every dish came with a small salad on the side. Nothing special but nice to have. The others had some mediterranean and Greek food like pork tenderloin with metaxa sauce and gyros. They all liked their choices and will come back again (wasn't the first visit for us anyway).

📍座標：臺灣臺北 端午節假期和朋友久違的小聚，選擇這間連續假日難得有營業的「神燈搓一下」。 店內環境寬敞，大片窗戶明亮，整體感覺很舒服，和朋友聚會蠻適合的。 餐點部分和朋友選擇的是： 四人超值套餐$2599（平均一人$650）含 -前菜*2份（薯條/蔬菜咖哩餃/芒果酸子酥球）三選二 我們選擇蔬菜咖哩餃及芒果酸子酥球，咖哩餃內餡是含有塊狀的馬鈴薯泥，蠻大一顆的將近一個拳頭大小，是有飽足感的已經超越前菜只是淺嚐開胃的等級😂旁邊配了綠色的醬沒什麼味道。 比起來我更喜歡芒果酸子酥球的醬，酥球是空心的油炸球，有白醬紅醬及馬鈴薯泥，白醬有股淡淡的草味，幾乎沒什麼味道，紅醬酸酸甜甜很開胃，裡面都有加小酥球。大酥球填入馬鈴薯泥再淋上特調醬，讓你酥上加酥蠻好吃的，想嚐嚐特殊料理的可以試試，比較少見。 -主菜任選4份 酪梨墨西哥酥脆玉米餅 酪梨配上特調莎莎醬及玉米餅很清爽，總共三個塔可餅及沙拉，份量較少也不含肉類，愛吃肉可能會很空虛，女生吃應該會飽，但因為我們其他主食都含肉且份量很大，後來覺得其中一份主食選玉米餅可以中和口味跟份量很不錯。 烤羊肉串中東批塔拼盤 很大一盤配料豐富，羊肉串因為有香料調味，所以羊騷味不會很重，鷹嘴豆泥調味較淡有中和味道的效果，鷹嘴豆球表現較中規中矩。但所有配料包進Pita餅是好吃的。 奶油雞肉咖哩及香料羊肉咖哩 奶油雞肉有甜味，香料羊肉口味較重，羊騷味不重被香料蓋過了。兩種咖哩都很好吃。 -甜點*2份（布朗尼/印度龍鬚糖）任選 布朗尼是溫的，甜度可接受。印度龍鬚糖薑味很重，質地有點像金門花生貢糖那樣鬚鬚易碎的塊狀，還有加一些堅果跟葡萄乾蠻特別的，但有點太甜，最後沒吃完。 -飲料*4杯 點了香料奶茶跟芒果優格飲都好喝。 總體來說食物都很好吃很推薦，扣一顆星是因為服務生態度較冷淡，上菜過程到離開都是，最後甜點還沒上就提醒我們休息時間到了要趕人感受不太好。
