I went to "Wagyu Tanjii Osaka Temma," which is about a 2-minute walk from JR Temma Station. It's conveniently close to the station and very accessible, making it a great spot for a quick bite of barbecue.
This time, I ordered the "Thick Sliced Sendai Beef Tongue & Wagyu Aburi Otoro Sushi and All-You-Can-Eat Wagyu Kalbi Plan" (including tax, 4,980 yen). With all-you-can-eat options for Wagyu beef, beef tongue, and various types of meat, I also opted for an additional "Secret Lemon Sour All-You-Can-Drink Plan." This drink allows you to mix it to your preferred strength, making for a fun and delicious experience.
The meat sushi is flamed right in front of you by the staff, which gives a special touch of enjoying it fresh, and the taste was excellent. The kalbi had just the right amount of fat, was satisfying to eat, and left me feeling very satisfied.
However, there were honestly a few concerning points. First, the ventilation inside the restaurant was hardly effective, and smoke filled the air, leaving a strong smell on our clothes and hair. Additionally, the tables were quite sticky, which prompted us to request extra wet towels to wipe them ourselves, as it was bothersome.
Furthermore, there was only one restroom each for men and women, and the toilet paper wasn’t replenished, leading to clogs and leaks, which left a rather disappointing impression. Considering the size of the restaurant, I believe they should put more emphasis on sanitation management.
At the start of the course, staff should typically provide explanations about the meat assortment, but at our table, it was placed silently, leaving us unsure how to proceed, which was a bit troublesome. A little more attentive guidance in terms of service would have made our experience more enjoyable and reassuring.
The quality of the meat and the presentation were impressive, and I truly enjoyed the meal. However, there are numerous issues with hygiene and customer service, which makes me hesitant to recommend it to others at this time.
The atmosphere and concept are not bad at all, so if improvements are made in hygiene and service, I feel this restaurant could become loved by many more people.
