# Tucheng
I remember that the Guilin Teppanyaki is also a chain.
This is my first time dining at this one inside the Daan Department Store in Tucheng.
The business was quite good on Friday night.

We ordered an economical special and a value special for two adults and one child.
We had beef, pork, squid, shrimp, tofu, a fried egg, and two servings of vegetables.
The standard for teppanyaki includes cabbage and bean sprouts.
The seasoning wasn't too salty, and the cooking level was just right.
Both the pork and beef were stir-fried with a lot of aromatic spices.
The flavors were a bit strong, so it's better to have it with rice.
The tofu and fried egg were good and didn't feel greasy.
The squid and shrimp were salty enough to eat on their own.
For those who prefer stronger flavors, they can dip in the accompanying five-spice sauce.

Overall, I think the meal's taste was adequate.
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't excellent either.
However, I found the rice to be quite hard—harder than just being separate grains.
But the soup was pretty good, with lots of bamboo shoots and a refreshing sweetness.
The self-service area also had ice cream and drinks.
The dining environment was okay.
It’s a place I would consider revisiting.

The translation of "花枝蝦仁" to English is "squid and shrimp".
The soup is unexpectedly quite good.
The counter clearly indicates the source of the meat products.

The white rice and soup are self-serve.
