There is a famous taro ball shop in Jiufen, and there are two main ones that are well-known, each with its own supporters. Personally, I think they are quite similar. This time, I went to Auntie A-Gan's taro balls. It is located a bit higher up, so you have to climb a small flight of stairs, but the environment and view are nice.

The menu is simple and easy to choose from, with options for cold or hot servings. It's very busy, but the food comes out quickly and there are plenty of seats. The taro balls are freshly made, very soft, chewy, and delicious. You can also take some home frozen to cook yourself, which is great.
