Located near the Chenghuang Temple, this congee and small dishes shop is noteworthy for its 24-hour operation. In the middle of the night, apart from convenience stores, it is one of the few places still open for business.
The decor is quaint and old-fashioned, and the dining space is quite spacious, although the tables at the bar are a bit small. You order by queuing up and telling the aunt what you want, and she will prepare everything for you.
The menu is quite extensive, with various dishes to choose from, including soups and main courses.
The seasoning is fairly standard, neither too salty nor overly greasy. The prices are slightly higher than a buffet, but the portion sizes are also larger.
