🚩Geographical Location🧭
Located near the intersection of Section 2, Yimin Road and Xirong Road in Dali District, Taichung City, opposite the basketball court of National Chung Hsing University High School.
🪑About the Overall Atmosphere🎡
It seems to be a chain store, with a simple food cart and a striking red sign at the entrance. The overall appearance is clean and simple. It's difficult to find parking at the entrance, and it appears to be a takeaway hotspot; cash is the only payment method.
💰About the Pricing💰
The Red Tea Latte is $50. I admit I was attracted by the price, and even though I ordered it without sugar, they served me a lightly sweetened one. I only realized this after taking a sip.
🍴About the Food☕
You can actually smell that the red tea is likely the very cheap kind you find at night market steak stalls from the entrance. Still, I decided to give it a try because I was thirsty and it was affordable. As expected, it was incredibly bad! The fresh milk’s brand is unknown; it lacks both tea flavor and milk flavor. I couldn't even understand what I was drinking—the only thing I could taste was the sugar, which was quite nauseating.
🤨Conclusion♥
I find it commendable that this type of store can open a chain and that people are willing to franchise it. It’s just like regular non-chain milk tea brands where you can’t even tell what you are drinking; while waiting for the drink, I heard students from National Chung Hsing University High School ordering 37 cups over the phone... Your classmates will kill you, right? It seems their survival depends on student business.
