This is a well-known traditional bakery in Guanshan, and just like the old-style bakeries, it sells a variety of drinks, snacks, and ice products in addition to bread, making it like a small grocery store.
Its signature offerings are various flavored toasts. There are filled ones with red bean, taro, milk cream, coconut, and raisins. The unfilled ones are pineapple and Danish toasts. Since we arrived in the afternoon, all the filled toasts were sold out, leaving only a Danish toast, which we immediately decided to buy without hesitation. The texture of the Danish toast is very solid and dense, and it is not too sweet or dry, making it enjoyable to eat even without a drink. We originally intended to have it as breakfast for four people, but we finished it before we even returned to the city 🤣🤣.
If you happen to visit Guanshan, I highly recommend this traditional bakery. When we went, we also saw a black cat, and upon inquiring, we found out that they do not provide delivery services. However, you can call ahead to reserve the toast, just make sure to call before 5 PM!
