Overall rating: 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
Actually, this is Din Tai Fung.
I didn’t expect that I could see Din Tai Fung when I came to Malaysia.
But according to friends who came before
Din Tai Fung here is really awesome.
It’s just different from the local taste in Taiwan
But after eating it, I personally think it’s okay
It won't hurt to have no special expectations
Of course, it is impossible to say that it is as delicious as Din Tai Fung in Taiwan.
But it’s also above a certain level
When you come abroad, if you miss Taiwan’s delicious Xiao Long Bao and steamed dumplings,
You can still give it a try

⭐️Food section
👉Hot and sour soup
The most satisfying thing today is the hot and sour soup.
It feels very much like eating hot and sour soup in Taiwan
Overall, it doesn’t taste too strong.
So it's acceptable
But the hot and sour soup is enough
And there's some shredded chicken in it
It tastes more layered
👉Chicken stir-fried in red oil
Because Din Tai Fung here doesn’t serve pork at all.
So the red oil stir-fried hands here are divided into chicken and shrimp.
And this time I ordered red oil noodles.
Personally, I think it’s a bit off.
The noodles were dry and shriveled and didn’t really taste good.
And the red oil chai hand itself is not too spicy either.
Just like a dumpling with bread inside
👉Steamed shrimp dumplings
The steamed dumplings here taste quite different from those in Taiwan.
The whole steamed dumplings don’t taste moist enough.
So it’s dry
Just like a layer of dough with shrimps inside🥺🥺🥺
A bit of a failure
⭐️Drinks section
Ordered a cup of earl gray lemon tea
Nothing special, just a cup of lemon tea🥺🥺
⭐️Atmosphere part
The seats at Din Tai Fung here are even smaller.
And the people here talk very loudly
So it’s basically difficult to concentrate on eating.
Will often be affected by other tourists sitting next to you
In addition, Din Tai Fung here is more like a crowded restaurant.
The turnover rate is naturally high
But it just lacks the elegant Chinese cuisine in Taiwan.
It also lacks a bit of a high-end feel.
⭐️Service section
Din Tai Fung is a store with very good service in Taiwan.
But it's fine here
The waiters here are mainly responsible for ordering and delivering food.
So I don't feel like I'm at home.
⭐️Price section
The prices at Din Tai Fung here are not much different from those in Taiwan.
But if you look at the prices, you would think it is more expensive to eat here.
And the food is not more delicious or special🥺🥺
⭐️Location section
Just like in a hypermarket
Gourmet restaurant in department store mall
So the location is naturally very good
⭐️Summary
If you are in a different place and want to eat some Taiwanese food, xiaolongbao, soup dumplings or fried rice and noodles
You can definitely taste something similar when you come to Din Tai Fung
But compared to the food in Taiwan, the quality is still much lower.
But if you are very homesick
You can come here and try it.
After all, Din Tai Fung is such a high-level chain
The food is still of a certain standard
But it’s probably because different countries have different tastes, so it takes some getting used to🥺
