This shop was originally located on Zhonghua East Road, Section 2. Recently, it temporarily closed due to the owner's issues. It used to also appear at the Shenglong Street Night Market, but similarly had not been seen there for quite some time because the owner took a break.
Now, it has reopened on Zhongshan South Road. Upon seeing the news of the reopening, I immediately went to the shop. Perhaps because it just reopened, there weren't many people, which is surprising considering it used to have long lines at the night market, making it hard to get in!
The chicken feet here are extremely delicious, especially with their unique chili sauce. The soft and tender chicken feet are rich in collagen, perfectly matched with the aroma of the braised sauce and the creamy texture—it’s highly recommended! Additionally, their braised dishes are all tasty; items like dried tofu and tofu pouches make for great snacks with drinks. After all, their braising sauce is so well-seasoned!
Due to the Sudan red issue recently, the owners have actually revised their chili recipes. It’s not that they didn’t have chili oil with Sudan red, but the owners were concerned about using chilies containing Sudan red, so they reduced the amount of chili powder in their seasoning. Consequently, their chili isn't as spicy as it used to be; I hope they can restore the original flavor one day.
