First, to give the conclusion, this used to be my favorite braised pork rice in Tainan, but after the change of ownership, it has deteriorated significantly.

I've been eating here since high school, and the only regret is that the prices have increased quite a bit. There’s not much to criticize about other aspects, but personally, I feel that dining in is more worthwhile. One time, when I took out the large and small braised pork rice, the portions were nearly indistinguishable, which disappointed me a little.

The pork used in their braised pork rice is very tender and juicy, and when eaten with the rice, it's refreshing and not greasy. However, over the past few years, it seems that the portions have been decreasing.

I almost always order the milkfish belly soup whenever I come here. I must say their soup is really on the sweeter side, very much in line with Tainan's culinary style. If you don’t like sweet flavors, I would recommend thinking twice.

In recent years, they have added more seating in the dining area next to it, so you don't have to wait as long as before, which is definitely a plus.

Ultimately, the biggest regret is that every time I go back, I feel like the prices have gone up a bit and the portions have decreased a bit. I’ve seen online that some people also mention that the quality has changed due to the change of ownership, and I can only say it's a pity. I hope it doesn't keep deteriorating.
