🔹 Salt-grilled Pork Belly (₩ 13,000)

  • The first dish is the classic and timeless "Salt-grilled Pork Belly." The pork belly is cut to an ideal thickness, with beautiful marbling, and without excessive seasoning, simply enhanced with sea salt. Grilled to a slight crisp on the outside while maintaining juiciness inside, the crispy and fragrant exterior pairs perfectly with the meat's own fat, along with lettuce, garlic, and kimchi—a truly unbeatable combination!

🔸 Beef Short Ribs (₩ 17,000 x 2 servings)

  • There aren’t many beef options, just steak and brisket. I worried the brisket would be too fatty, so I chose this! It has a texture somewhat similar to beef ribs, cut thick, with a chewy yet tender bite, and a rich beef flavor. Make sure to eat it while it’s hot when grilled to the perfect doneness; the outside is slightly crispy, and it’s very juicy inside!

🔹 Samgyeopsal (Three-layer Pork Belly) (₩ 13,000 x 2 servings)

  • Three-layer pork belly is truly the soul of classic Korean BBQ. Here, the three-layer pork comes with skin, which is grilled to a crispy perfection, and eating it with lettuce and kimchi is simply a perfect score! After finishing one round, we ordered another!

🔸 Hangjeongsal (Pork Neck Meat) (₩ 13,000)

  • Unlike the super oily sensation of pork belly, neck meat has a more textured bite; it’s quite chewy and lively. You can eat it grilled without sauce or salt. The experience of biting into the meat is incredibly satisfying, not melting in your mouth all at once. However, it depends on the person—some might find it too chewy and may take longer to bite through. Personally, I love it, especially when paired with lettuce or spicy kimchi; it’s absolutely fantastic.

🔹 Cola (₩ 2,000)

  • A regular plastic bottle of cola, served with a cup; it’s a pity the cup isn’t an iced one! It’s too hot in Korea.

🔸 Steamed Egg (₩ 2,000)

  • The portion is substantial, with a fluffy and soft texture, perfectly seasoned—not too salty. However, compared to what I've eaten in the past few days, the taste is slightly inferior.

🔹 Mul Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles) (₩ 5,000)

  • The sweet and sour broth is very appetizing and refreshing, and the noodles are quite chewy and firm. There are plenty of ice cubes, making it a perfect complement to the BBQ after getting tired of meaty dishes! Adding some wasabi or a splash of vinegar would add extra depth.

🧸 As the grilling progressed, there was a lot of smoke, so the owner temporarily opened the door to ventilate.
🧸 The table space is not large, and that day it was completely full, so the water jug and drinks had to be placed on the floor temporarily.
