Xiao Wang's Braised Pork Rice is a time-honored braised pork rice restaurant located on Huaxi Street in Taipei. It was once recommended as a snack by Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2019. Now, in addition to Taipei, there are also branches in the food court in Area C of Taoyuan Airport Terminal 2 (Control Area).

In my opinion:
🤷 Mushroom braised pork rice
The rice itself is not sweet enough, the marinade is a bit too salty, and the rice itself is not bad, it should be textbook-level rice. It would be better if I put more mushrooms and braised pork. I see a lot of them in photos and others on the Internet...

🤷 Melon seed soup
This one tastes better than I expected. The soup is a bit spicy, but not too spicy. There are pieces of meat in it, so it actually tastes pretty good. Isn’t this soup the main part of it?
