Review from a braces-wearing person: No restroom at the roadside stall
The "Zhuang Jiajiao Scallion Pancakes and Chive Pockets" near Jingmei Night Market specializes in simple scallion pancakes and chive pockets, and there's always a line. Although the wait isn’t short, the food is indeed quite good, which explains its popularity.
The freshly made scallion pancakes taste best when served hot, with a crispy exterior and a pleasant texture. This time, I chose the scallion pancakes, which cost 30 NT dollars per serving, and adding an egg costs an additional 15 NT dollars, which is quite reasonable. I suggest that friends who are not afraid of spicy food should add a bit of chili for better flavor.
However, if you’re worried about it being greasy, you might want to skip it. When there are fewer people, the wait isn’t too long, and eating it hot really is the best experience.
