The Korean restaurant is located in the Jingshan Street area and is known for its generous portions of Korean cuisine. The overall environment is simple and rustic, with a dining atmosphere leaning towards a homestyle restaurant, attracting mostly local students and office workers. The portion sizes are generally large, so for someone with an average appetite, one dish is usually enough to feel quite full.

The seafood pancake was one of the standout items this time. The outer layer is fried to a golden crisp while the interior remains moist, and the seafood ingredients are quite plentiful. Paired with a Korean dipping sauce, it strikes a nice balance of salty and savory, making it a dish that’s quite enjoyable to eat.

The beef BBQ rice initially suggested it would be a common dry version of grilled meat rice. However, when it arrived, it turned out to be a soupy version, which felt a bit mismatched. The beef flavor was acceptable, but the broth covered the meat, eliminating the smoky and dry texture typically associated with grilled meat, leaving the overall taste somewhat vague.

The performance of the black bean noodles was disappointing. The sauce was weak in flavor, lacking the rich salty-sweet taste that Korean black bean sauce should have, resulting in a rather monotonous overall taste, making it one of the less recommended dishes of the meal.

In contrast, the Korean mixed noodles were quite good. The spiciness was noticeable but not harsh, with the spicy sauce having a mild sweetness and garlic aroma. Once the noodles were mixed well, they were very appetizing and would satisfy those who enjoy strong flavors.

The seafood tofu pot was consistently reliable, with a broth that had a basic level of spiciness and freshness, and the tofu was smooth and tender, making it a safe choice for a Korean hot pot.

Overall, the strengths of the Korean restaurant lie in its portion sizes and some signature dishes, such as the seafood pancake and mixed noodles, which performed well. However, there is still some inconsistency in the quality of certain main dishes. If you choose the right items, you can still enjoy a quite filling meal of Korean cuisine.
