辛殿麻辣鍋 信義店
Xin Dian Spicy Hot Pot is also an old brand of spicy hot pot in Taipei, established for more than 11 years. Previously located in ATT, this new store has moved to A19, which used to be Neo19, reportedly to expand its business, and I feel that the restaurant is indeed spacious and comfortable.
Today, I enjoyed a yin-yang pot, with a total price of 1756 NT$. After deducting the service fee, it's 798 NT$ per person for all-you-can-eat.
Yin-yang pot:
The red pot is spicy but not overwhelmingly hot, while the white pot is filled with garlic, which is quite healthy. The quality of the meat and seafood is not bad, and the portions are generous. Compared to the Xin Dian Song Jiang store I visited about ten years ago, there doesn't seem to be much difference; it remains consistently delicious.
There are quite a variety of dessert options, performing reasonably well. Additionally, the restaurant offers hand-scooped La Menorquina ice cream from Spain, which is really tasty.
Overall, it's a stable and reliable all-you-can-eat hot pot brand. Even though after trying various delicacies since entering society, I feel that Xin Dian's ingredients can’t compete with top-tier materials. However, considering the price, this is definitely one of the excellent choices that respects both my stomach and budget.
