Beitou, Taipei - A very atmospheric brunch spot with excellent food quality
Hello everyone, it's been a while since I wrote a Fooday review~
This time I visited a small shop located less than a 3-minute walk from Beitou MRT station. Although the shop's name says coffee, I believe the quality of the brunch is outstanding! The meal features healthy elements that I enjoy: quinoa rice and a fresh salad! The chicken nuggets and fries are fried perfectly! (I guess they used an air fryer, not oily and very crispy!)
This time, the two of us ordered from the brunch set menu:
📍 Spiced Chicken 350 NTD: The sauce is flavorful, although it’s a bit sweet, with a hint of floral pepper aroma; it pairs excellently with rice!
📍 Scallion Oil Beef 350 NTD: The meat resembles the kind used in sukiyaki; the scallion oil adds a savory flavor! Not bad.
We both opted for upgraded drinks:
📍 Iced Drip Coffee +30 NTD: The taste is just right, not too bitter; it’s a quality iced drip coffee.
📍 Earl Grey Milk Tea +30 NTD: The fresh milk is from a local small farm! Highly recommended.
📍 Add Fries to Set +30 NTD: They weren’t oily! It feels lighter as if they’re cooked in an air fryer! Highly recommended.
