Juyuan is an old store in Beitou, and it must have been open for decades. Although I grew up in Beitou, I didn’t eat there for the first time until I was in my late 30s!
The main sashimi tastes very good and tastes fresh. But it was actually cut into a bit too big and too fat... As a result, it tasted a bit too much... As for the hand rolls, others ordered shrimp hand rolls, and I heard they were very good. The salmon roe hand roll I ordered came with a lot of rice, and it was relatively expensive... not worth it.
Dobin steamed rice is very fresh and delicious. It is recommended to order it and drink it. It’s a very filling meal for less than $600 per person. Overall, it’s Taiwanese Japanese food with a high CP value, which is pretty good!
