This ramen shop is located on Zhongxiao Road in Neili and is considered a famous food spot in Neili. It's truly one of the must-eat ramens in Taoyuan. 😆 During meal times, there's often a long line. ☺️ Today, I hurried over as soon as the shop opened to grab a bite. 😋

The dining environment inside is clean and simple, with only about a dozen seats. The shop is narrow, so the chef prepares the ramen right in front of you. 😁 The entire cooking process is visible to the customers, which makes it more reassuring. 😌

Shio Tonkotsu Chashu Ramen:

I ordered a bowl of the classic shio ramen, and the shop offers two types of noodles: regular and extra thin, with the option to choose the firmness according to personal preference. The broth has a stronger flavor, so if you want more soup, you can ask the shop to add some unsalted broth. 😙 But personally, I think the saltiness is just right. 😁 The chashu is thick and emits an enhanced aroma after being torched, but the charred baby corn looks a bit intimidating. 😆 I can only say this is an adult's version of baby corn. 😊

Rich Spicy Miso Ramen:

One is light, and the other has to be heavily flavored. 😆 The rich broth is definitely a must-order for those who like bold flavors, bringing a taste reminiscent of Japan. 😆 Additionally, there are many chopped onions in the broth, and after sipping it, it feels like salty bubble tea, enhancing the experience of drinking the soup. 😙 This bowl includes a whole soft-boiled egg, which is incredibly satisfying. 🤩

Mentaiko Chashu Rice:

The portion of mentaiko sauce is quite good. After mixing in a generous amount of shredded seaweed and sauce, it becomes extra smooth. The rice feels so much smoother to eat. 👍 As someone who prefers bold flavors, I also added a little spicy miso soup, which doubled the aroma. 😘

In Summary:

The shop has limited seating, so patience is required when dining. 😆 I noticed that the shop warms the bowls beforehand, which is a major plus for someone like me who prefers hot ramen. This shows the shop pays attention to such details. 👍 Many people say the chicken white soup and the dipping noodles are highly recommended. 😏 I definitely need to go back and try them next time. 😋
