Originating in Tainan in 1987, Qingxin Fuxuan was often rumored to add unlimited ice and have an overwhelmingly sweet flavor.
In the past, I was influenced by these rumors and often considered Qingxin last when buying drinks.
It wasn't until the release of the Taiwanese movie "The Thing About Me and My Ghost Becoming Family" in recent years, where I saw Qingxin's strong sponsorship in this nice film, that my interest in this chain was rekindled.
At that time, I realized that Qingxin was nowhere near as bad as I had imagined.
