Hello everyone, I am a little frog 🐸.
I came to the vicinity of Wu Xing Street in the Xinyi District of Taipei and passed by a building with a red brick wall under a big tree. It's a special place called <Xiao Chuan Coffee House>.

They sell single-origin coffee and special brewed coffee, mainly for takeout. However, they have tables and chairs set up in an outdoor courtyard for people to enjoy on-site. It's shaded by trees, but it might not be suitable for indoor use on rainy days.

⭐️ Red Heart Guava Americano $100
10 oz capacity, the rich guava aroma paired with a mildly sour Americano complements each other without conflict. The balance is very smooth; it’s the first time I've tasted something like this, and I find it delicious! I usually drink more lattes and am not a big fan of the adult-flavored Americano, but I can accept this cup.

⭐️ Honwa Caramel Pudding $100
They use Honwa caramel from Japan, but I'm not very good at tasting the differences in sugar. The pudding has a slightly creamy texture, with not too much decoration. You can see a little bit of vanilla seeds in it (but not much). Overall, it's rich and sweet, which pairs perfectly with the coffee.

‼️ Conclusion:
The Red Heart Guava Americano is tasty and memorable, while the pudding is just average. Drinking coffee in the fall should be quite pleasant, although the coffee portion is on the smaller side, making the price feel a bit high in comparison. However, I would be willing to return if I pass by occasionally.
