This dessert shop is not far from Beimen Station, Ximen Station and Taipei Main Station. After dinner near Taipei Station, I suddenly wanted to eat red bean glutinous rice balls. I found this shop nearby and took a bowl away.
There is a small dining area in the store with 7 tables for four and a lot of seats. There are not many customers around 8pm on Friday night.
Red bean soup, choose two ingredients $60
I chose one glutinous rice ball and one taro ball and sweet potato ball. The "rounds" here are not round, but irregular, which is quite special. I personally think the texture is soft, but still a bit chewy; red bean soup It’s not too sweet or greasy. It’s okay to finish a bowl by yourself.
The taste is pretty good and the price is average. I can’t say it’s cheap, but it’s still acceptable in Taipei City.
