What I’m sharing this time is the store “Dou Lian Fan”. I’ve tasted their bean curd through delivery before and left a good impression. This time I went to the store in person to try their small taro balls, sweet potato balls and bean curds, priced at NT$60.
🍮 Small taro balls, sweet potato balls and bean curds - $60
The texture of the bean curd is very dense and the bean aroma is rich, which fully meets all my expectations for delicious bean curd. The brown sugar water that goes with it is a little too sweet, but overall it's quite enjoyable.
The small taro balls and sweet potato balls are a little smaller than I expected, but this does not affect their taste. They are still very elastic. The faint aroma of taro and sweet potato goes very well with the combination of tofu pudding and brown sugar water.
One small regret is that there is a little too much brown sugar water. After most of the ingredients are eaten, the remaining sugar water tastes a bit monotonous.
🏠 In-store dining experience
During this meal, I noticed the smell of disinfectant in the store. While cleanliness is a good thing, if the smell is too strong it can detract from the dining experience. Not sure if it just happens to be disinfection time. If this is normal, you may want to consider taking out or delivering.
