🍜 Liu's Rice Noodle Soup
📍 No. 320, Fuxing Road, Zhonghe District, New Taipei City
🕰 Monday to Friday 11:00-15:00 / 17:00-20:00
🕰 Saturday and Sunday 11:00-15:00 / 17:30-20:00 (Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday)
😌 The shop isn't very big but it's quite clean, with air conditioning for dining in. The young boss is friendly, and the ordering process is smooth and not chaotic.
🍜 Dry Noodles ($60) are sufficient in portion, the noodles are somewhat thick and chewy, the seasoning is not heavy but flavorful, with added bean sprouts and fried shallots for fragrance, and you won't feel greasy after eating.
🥬 Blanched Vegetables ($40) today were Chinese lettuce, perfectly blanched without being overcooked, with a generous portion, plus the fried shallots add extra flavor.
🍖 For the braised dishes, I ordered the pork cheek ($60), pigskin ($45), and white radish ($35). The pork cheek was the biggest surprise, tender and flavorful, with a bunch of shredded ginger that really enhanced it✨ The pigskin is chewy, and the radish is well-braised but not mushy. Overall, the taste is quite good, just a bit pricey💸
🪑 The environment is clean, like a home-style noodle shop, making you feel at ease while eating. I'll definitely want to come back for another bowl of dry noodles with braised dishes when I feel peckish~
