🍠 Discover the various transformations of sweet potatoes and enjoy affordable, high-quality dessert options!
OIMO Sanzen Chaya is both a baking kitchen and the main store, handcrafting desserts every day for other branches and online sales. When I first saw the sign, I thought it was some European language, but upon saying it out loud, I realized it simply means "sweet potato" in Japanese,「お芋」😂
This time, I got their classic popular sweet potato dessert to-go. Originally a traditional Japanese dessert, they have revamped it to feel more like a trendy French pastry! The sweet potato part itself is not baked, retaining the smooth and rich texture of sweet potato puree, fluffy like cream!
The base layer is made with crispy mille-feuille pastry, and even after several hours of being at home, it remains crispy and contrasts interestingly with the texture of the sweet potato puree, bringing joy to the experience 🤗
The shop also offers cookies, cream puffs, and various sweet potato drinks. If you love sweet potatoes, you can't miss this place!
