Located near the #NanjingFuxing MRT Station, this hand-brewed coffee shop once won the "Pocket Coffee" award at Taiwan's coffee competition. The shop's atmosphere features a soothing sea blue, allowing customers to relax while tasting their coffee.
I ordered a single-origin hand-brewed coffee and noticed that they had an Aeropress on the counter. For a moment, I thought they would use the Aeropress to brew coffee, but later I saw they were using the typical hand-brew method. It seems the Aeropress is likely for special coffee blends.
☕️ Costa Rica Las Haras Estate Black Honey $150
Flavor Notes: Blackberry | Plum | Brown Sugar
It was slightly more bitter than I expected, but you can still taste the rich brown sugar aroma. The cup is about 300ml, and the price for the hand-brew is not very expensive. I would like to try other single-origin hand brews next time!
The shop also offers many special drinks, combining single-origin hand brews with tea, milk, and more to create a delightful tasting experience. They also have some options paired with sparkling water that look really cool. If you're looking to try something with a richer flavor profile, you should give those a try!
Overall, the atmosphere is great, the service is decent (nothing particularly bad), and there are diverse coffee options. The special series looks very appealing, and I would be willing to visit again.
