Located near National Taiwan University Hospital Station and 228 Park, they sell not only milkfish, but also seafood such as oysters, as well as pork trotters, pork rice, sesame oil noodles, etc.
The interior space is quite large. On weekdays, there are many nearby office workers or uncles and aunts coming to eat at noon.
A colleague recommended the economical set meal for $120, which includes: a small bowl of pork rice, two stir-fried dishes of the day, and fish ball soup. It was said to be the most cost-effective combination, but since today’s stir-fry was tomato scrambled eggs and eggplant, I had to give it up because I hate tomatoes.
Small bowl of pork rice $30
Lu Rou uses fatty meat and tastes pretty good. It’s the flavor of Lu Pork that I like.
But I was a bit dumbfounded when it was served, because the pork belly was probably too little. After eating the whole bowl of rice, I only got the pork belly in a few bites, which was a bit disappointing.
Comprehensive Luwei $50
One each of fried tofu, Ludan and Luwan
The fried tofu tastes amazing and is very soft and tender. It should be made with soft tofu; the Lu Dan and Lu Wan are also quite delicious.
All three are delicious, but pricey
Overall, the food tastes not bad, but the price has been rising. The current price is no longer proportional to the meal portion, and the cp value is low. The frequency of coming here for lunch should be reduced in the future.
ps. Actually, I originally wanted to order a hot vegetable dish, but when I saw that the price went up to $50, it was a bit expensive, so I had to give up.
