If you drive to a Japanese restaurant in an alley, you may have to park in a nearby parking lot and walk to the store. There are not many seats in the store, so it is recommended to make a reservation in advance to avoid waiting for a long time.
The food is cooked to order, so you may have to wait a while. This time I ordered the signature seafood rice bowl/450 yuan. The fish was cut very thickly and felt very fresh without any fishy smell. The boss handled it very well. The vinegared rice of the rice bowl is also very special. It is mixed with furikake/shiitake mushroom/bean skin. It is very different from the vinegared rice I have eaten in the past. It has rich layers and texture! You can eat it all without any toppings. The rice bowl series comes with miso soup and side dishes!
The chawanmushi is also above the standard, and the fish on top is not steamed at all. If you like steamed food, you can give it a try.
