No matter where you live, when you search for the keyword "waffles" on Google, it seems like this cabin-style waffle shop always pops up 🧇. They have many branches from north to south!
This was my first experience, and luckily the Fengyuan branch nearby is open from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM, so you can choose it for breakfast or late-night snacks. I thought I could try a couple of flavors without feeling too full, but I was terribly wrong 🤚🏻. Next time, I will learn my lesson and order just one.
Here, the waffles are flat and grid-like, similar to sponge cakes rather than crispy ones. The good thing is that they are not greasy or heavy; overall, they are quite refreshing. The overall experience was average, but if you're craving waffles, they are a decent choice to satisfy your hunger!
✐ Vanilla Custard Waffle $65
· A pretty classic flavor, if you're not sure what to get, just choose this one. The key is they are very generous with the filling.
✐ Matcha Red Bean Waffle $75
· The red bean paste has lots of bits with a moderate sweetness. The matcha flavor is strong without being artificial, and the combination of the two is just right 🍵🫘.
✐ White Peach Fragrant Oolong $40
· The peach flavor is overwhelmingly strong, and I personally do not recommend it. There is some tea fragrance, but not much. The peach aroma fills your mouth and nose with just one sip. A possible advantage is that your breath smells pleasant afterward (?)
