The Spring Garlic Bean Curd is located in the Lingya/Ziqiang Night Market in Kaohsiung City, on Lingya Second Road. The store is situated in a corridor with a few small dine-in seats, but most customers opt for takeout. There isn't a visible queue outside, but business is quite good as the ingredients are prepared only after an order is placed, which requires a longer waiting time. The owner has announced that customers can also place orders by phone for pick-up later. It seems that Line Pay was once accepted, but there is no signage on-site, so I paid in cash today.
After ordering, I wandered around other stalls in the night market and waited about 20 minutes to pick up my meal. There are benches available next to the stall for waiting customers.
Today I ordered the Garlic Bean Curd for $70, and the amount of garlic used is astonishing; the whole bowl is filled with minced garlic. Personally, I’m not a fan of garlic, so I only had a few bites, but my family loves garlic, and the thin bean curd absorbs the rich garlic-flavored broth really well. The portion is quite large and very satisfying! However, I only ordered the bean curd this time; next time I want to order the Garlic Platter, which includes five different ingredients. I recommend it to garlic lovers and those who enjoy bold flavors! (Just remember to brush your teeth afterward, please! 🤣)
