悅湘蛋包飯

This omelette rice shop is located in an alley near Taipei Main Station. Because I really like omelette rice, I was attracted to it when I saw an arrow indicating omelette rice.

The boss is a very kind grandma. There are only two people working on the meal in the store, but it is ready in about 5 minutes after ordering. There is a black tea buffet inside, and the boss thoughtfully reminds you that you can pack black tea to drink.

The chicken steak was deep-fried and crispy, and tasted like Karaage chicken thigh steak, but it was quite thin, with thick skin and little meat, which was a pity. The omelette rice was topped with shredded burdock, because I like shredded burdock, so I got extra points. ~
The egg skin of the omelette rice is super thin, and the egg flavor is not very good when eaten; it is filled with tomato sauce rice, and the taste is very bland. There is no shredded pork and other ingredients, so the aroma is not fried. I added a lot of tomato sauce. Moreover, the rice is at room temperature, and it feels like it has been fried in a large pot in advance. I don’t think the taste of the omurice rice is good enough.

Overall, I feel that the main customer base of this omelette restaurant is students, and 90% of the customers on site are really high school boys. It is very cheap, and it is no problem to eat a full meal, but in terms of taste, I think it may only be about 50 points. I should I won’t visit again, but because the chicken steak is quite delicious, I can give it an extra star.

For PS internal use, I also use a no-rinse lunch box, which is not very environmentally friendly.
