艋舺咖喱 MONGACURRY

The curry rice shop located at Ximen Station is a hidden treasure shop in my mind. I passed by it by chance before and thought it was a very attentive shop. The boss is very friendly and the curry rice is delicious.

It is said to be a small shop because there are only 7-8 seats in the store, all of which are counter seats. If you come to dine after 7 o'clock in the evening, the boss will do everything from making the meals to paying the bill. However, because there are not many seats, there will not be many seats at one time. There are too many customers so you don’t have to wait long

and a croquette $60
Let me start with the conclusion: delicious! Will definitely visit again!
Although the price doesn’t seem very cheap, I think it’s worth it because you can refill curry sauce and rice for free once for internal use~

The chicken has a very obvious grilled aroma and is delicious. The curry sauce is also very rich and full of spices. It makes me think that I too
I like the "Tongan Curry" very much. It adds chopped green onions and onions to enhance the flavor.

The side dishes include roasted bell peppers, roasted zucchini and roasted potatoes. The vegetables placed on the curry are grilled. When the owner is grilling, the restaurant is full of aroma. The smell is quite appetizing. I plan to order it directly next time. Order a piece of grilled seasonal vegetables; there are also fried shrimp cakes that are rarely seen in curry rice. They are very special and delicious!

As for the croquette, one portion is just one piece. It tastes very solid and full of potato flavor, but I personally don’t think it’s particularly amazing. I want to order it or not.
The fried oysters I ordered last time were quite delicious. I recommend them~

p.s. When I came here last time, I paid at the street corner, but my phone just ran out of battery. The boss was kind enough to lend me a power bank, which was super touching!
