Recently, the weather suddenly turned cold, and I really wanted to eat hot pot. There are so many hot pot options in Taipei. When I saw that there were discount coupons for my birthday month, I thought I’d come and eat at a well-known brand under the Wang Pin Group.

Now, there’s a part that’s a self-service bar where you can take some hot pot ingredients yourself, and the other food and meats are served separately. You can pick your own vegetables. I really like this model because I enjoy eating cabbage a lot — it’s great to be able to eat as much as I want! 👍

For the broth, we chose the boring kombu and pepper. The pepper is incredibly fragrant and delicious, and the kombu has that healthy taste you can expect.

For the meat, we chose a two-person serving of beef, which looks like a waterfall and is definitely worth taking pictures of — it’s so cute!

They gave us pork as a birthday gift, which was also not bad, although the meat quality was a bit ordinary. Besides the usual noodles found in hot pots, the self-service bar also has truffle rice, which is super delicious. I’d want to go back just for that — I really love it! 👍 Highly recommend!

However, since our seat was a separate four-person table, we didn’t have a service bell on our side, which I found quite unfortunate. We had to call for them, and they kept telling me to press the service bell, which made me very angry. 😡
