Rural Café Sansai山彩

A very distinctive standalone new-style building, with a lot of wood at the entrance. I really like this atmosphere; the interior is clean, bright, and comfortable. It is said that the owner's niece won a bronze medal in a skiing event at the Winter Olympics, and the shop has many signed sports jerseys along with a real Olympic bronze medal (it's quite heavy). It's a very close-knit family.

The meals are exquisite and delicious; the fried tofu is rich, the fried chicken is juicy and flavorful, the beef stew rice is hearty and pairs well with rice, and the barbecued pork is fragrant and tender. Overall, I really liked it, but you should be aware that the business hours seem to be quite irregular. It feels like this place is mostly a family-run business, and this shop is managed by the grandmother and the next generation, which is very warm and welcoming. By the way, it seems that the third generation has married a Taiwanese, and they also really like Taiwan.
