"Noodles around the Arena - Old Beijing Fried Noodles"
It’s actually a bit difficult to find more friendly meals and restaurants around the Arena. Ever since my company moved nearby, I’ve been looking for delicious restaurants.
The food in this old Beijing fried noodles restaurant is really good, and the boss is very kind (I forgot to bring money once, and the boss asked me to pay next time😂)
The portions of the food are actually quite large, and the prices are moderate. Today’s meal of noodles with fried bean paste + hand-cooked vegetables + boiled vegetables is actually quite filling!
"Signature Handmade Fried Noodles" $100
Just looking at the unit price, you might think it’s a bit expensive, but the portion of fried sauce is actually a lot! Often when the noodles are finished, there is still a pile of fried sauce underneath. The noodles are made from wide noodles so they taste very chewy. Pairing them with cucumbers can make the overall taste more refreshing.
"Sichuan Spicy Hands" $80
There are about 6-7 pills. Overall, the numbing sensation is heavier than spicy. The numbing sensation is very refreshing and each pill is solid and full. It is recommended to order it! But if you don’t like spicy food, you can tell the boss that the spiciness can be adjusted.
"Blanched Vegetables" $40
It's just blanched vegetables. I thought the price of $40 was a bit expensive, but the portion was quite a bit larger.
Recently I discovered that street payment is also supported! If you are working nearby, don’t miss it!
Seeing that many people come here and order braised lion head rice, I will try it next time and share it with everyone!
