This shop can be considered one of the must-try delicacies at the Zhongyuan Night Market! Every dish in the shop is priced at just a few coins, such as the scallion bun, chive bun, cold noodles, and rich soybean milk. Interestingly, the shop also sells authentic bao skins (like mantou) and innovative fried bao dishes in different flavors, such as cheese with sweetened condensed milk, meat with white sauce, Korean radish, and sauerkraut with white sauce, which are quite novel and I've never heard of them anywhere else. I've decided to buy and try them next time!
This time, I bought several scallion buns and chive buns to take home and share with my family. They think that one scallion bun for 40 yuan is enough for a meal, which is truly a blessing for students. I find the skin of the scallion bun delicious on its own, and paired with the filling of scallions, minced meat, and some broth, it's quite fragrant and tasty!
As for the chive bun, it’s only 30 yuan each, and I personally think it’s great too! The aroma of the chives is overwhelming, and with every bite, the dough and filling merge together, making it truly satisfying. I recommend everyone to come and give it a try!
