After returning from a trip to Italy 🇮🇹, I fell in love with Italian gelato. Compared to American ice cream, it feels lighter to eat. Puro Gelato is my favorite shop in Taipei, and I've lost count of how many times I've visited. They are committed to using locally sourced top-quality fresh milk and fruits. The chef specifically went to Italy to learn, and the flavors are very authentic while also incorporating the advantages of Taiwan's fruit kingdom, offering many stunning sorbets. I recommend it to anyone who loves ice cream.

Tips: You can follow their Facebook page for daily flavor updates. When you visit, feel free to ask if you can taste some, as the staff are usually very enthusiastic about introducing their ice creams.

Hazelnut: Their nut flavors are truly impressive, retaining a rich aroma without being overly sweet. The Sicilian pistachio is also highly recommended.
Blueberry Sorbet + Mango Plum Wine: This is their consistent quality. They are really skilled at making fruit-based ice cream, fully preserving the flavor of the fruits, and you can even taste the bits of fruit. However, the sweetness of the fruit flavors is relatively high, so if you're not a fan of sweet, you might want to stick to one flavor.

In summary, this is an ice cream shop that makes me want to go specifically to Tianmu for a visit. They offer a very diverse range of flavors, frequently updating their menu. The shop is very clean, and the owner is very polite, making it worth a try.

This place is my favorite Gelato shop that I have visited possibly 30 times 🫶🏻🫶🏻 I have tried almost all the flavors, and it is my number one choice for the best Italian ice cream in Taipei 🥇

Puro offers around a dozen flavors every day, using seasonal fruits. Besides the signature red-fleshed guava, the flavors change almost every week. You can check the flavors posted on their Facebook page! You can also sample before ordering.

Out of all the flavors, especially the fruity ones, they are amazing and highly recommended～～～ The authenticity is very high! They can even make fruits I don’t like taste perfect.

In addition to the fruit flavors, I also personally love the "Lavender 🪻," where you can taste the intermingling of floral and creamy flavors. It’s been a while since I encountered something like this!

This time I sampled these three new flavors, and they were all great 😆

Besides the two fruit flavors maintaining their consistent quality, the hazelnut flavor was particularly unforgettable. It is similar to the filling of Ferrero Rocher but not overly sweet, and the hazelnut aftertaste lingers in your mouth. I would definitely order it again next time 😝

As someone who loves refreshing fruit Sorbet, I still prefer the texture of the Gelato from Puro. From the first bite to the last, it maintains the same amazing experience!

I particularly like Puro’s sorbet. The fruit-flavored ice is particularly refreshing in the summer and fully embodies the flavor of the fruit.
It looks like a small ice cream shop in Tianmu area, but it can definitely be ranked as one of the best ice cream shops in Taipei.
Highly recommended, as long as you experience it, you will definitely have a drink
