AI Spot Summary

The variety of dishes was not as expected; some foods, such as the puff pastry soup and steak sauce, need improvement, while the performance of the crab and teppanyaki dishes like steak, pork chop, and chicken chop was relatively better.

The dining environment is acceptable, but there are not enough parking spaces to accommodate the size of the restaurant.

Service needs to be strengthened, particularly regarding the improper practice of taking away meals without the guest's consent. There is a need to improve staff training and service awareness.

🎉 Yilan's Local All-You-Can-Eat 🎉

Today, I came to Noah's Ark, one of the two well-known local all-you-can-eat restaurants in Yilan. Before coming, everyone had mixed recommendations, but I thought everyone's tastes are different, so I decided to give it a try. 😁

The restaurant has parking spaces, but there are only about ten spots... for a restaurant of this scale, that's really not enough, so if you need to park, you should come early. 😅

For lunch, it costs over 800 per person including service fee. Once inside, I felt that the variety of food was lacking compared to the other place. There wasn’t much in the way of hot stir-fried dishes, and after walking around, I didn’t know what to take. 😳

I finally spotted a puff pastry soup that looked really delicious, but when I tried it, the pastry was undercooked and a bit raw. The corn soup inside was super watery and had little flavor—I didn't even know what I was eating. 😅

The crab was fairly decent 😌, but it didn’t look great, as most of the legs were broken. 🫠

The only things that were somewhat good inside were the teppanyaki beef, pork, and chicken. The steak was alright, similar to night market steak, and the chicken was crispy and delicious. 😋 However, I just couldn't understand the beef sauce—it was a thick, overly-starchy mixture; I couldn’t tell if it was mushroom sauce or something else. 😏

Overall, I feel that the dining experience was much stronger at Xiangshi Afternoon Tea. 😅 But maybe there just aren't better options in Yilan, so people don’t have much choice. 🙂

To summarize:
I genuinely feel that the food variety and flavors need improvement, including staff training. 😌

At the next table, the customers hadn’t even eaten their meal yet, but the staff kept trying to clear their plates. The customer remarked, "I haven’t even eaten yet!" 😆 Maybe their presentation wasn't beautiful enough, but they should at least check if the ingredients have been eaten before clearing them. 🙃
