The dish features a lemon flavor, with the lemon cheesecake being refreshing and rich, and the lemon soda having a prominent aroma. The overall taste is satisfying.
The open-plan decor in an old house style offers a beautiful view, with distant sights of the sea and Itsukushima Shrine, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
📍Japan, Hiroshima, Miyajima
An unbeatable view from an open-style old house café 🍋☕️
It seems like in Hiroshima, food can be paired with lemon and oysters in any way 🤣
This café, called “Oyster Blessings,” mostly sells a range of lemon drinks and lemon cheesecake!
They also serve oyster side dishes.
I first discovered this place in a Tommy video, and it was my first attempt at visiting a café recommended by a video; thankfully, it didn’t turn out badly 🤪
With an open design in an old house style, the view is unbeatable, showcasing the sea and Hiroshima’s scenery. You can also see the five-story pagoda of Itsukushima Shrine nearby. I highly recommend this place on a nice day!
The café is located in a quiet residential area down a small alley. Walking up from the Omotesando shopping street, which is usually crowded with tourists, you can feel a very relaxed atmosphere 🌲
It feels like a somewhat niche café. On the day I visited, a Sunday afternoon around two o'clock, there was still a seat available quickly.
🧀 Cake Set (¥1,380):
I chose the Lemon Cheese Cake
and Lemon Soda
The cake is quite small, or maybe it just seems that way because it was so delicious 😌
The refreshing lemon flavor combined with rich cheese makes this cake light rather than heavy, and the pickled lemon slices and white chocolate shavings add a rich texture.
The lemon soda feels like an upgraded version of the Hong Kong-style salty lemon soda! It’s not as salty, emphasizing the lemon’s own fragrance more.
🍋 Hot Lemonade (¥650):
It’s about what you would imagine in terms of taste, nothing too spectacular.

Will I revisit: Yes!
