Hello～ Is everyone like me, occasionally having a particular craving for Korean food? 🇰🇷
This time, taking advantage of the Qixi Festival, I visited the brand new Korean restaurant under Wangpin Group for the second time. Collaborating with the renowned Korean chef Sun Yong, they strive to recreate authentic Korean flavors with a wide variety of dishes including fried food, hot pots, grilled items… so many options that it can be overwhelming for those with choice anxiety. 🤣
The Kaohsiung Yucheng store is about a 3-minute walk from the Metro Dome station. 🚇 The entire building houses Wangpin Group's brand restaurants: on the first floor, Chu Wa; the second floor, Xiang Ya; the third floor, Meat Next Level.
🉑 Online reservations are incredibly convenient. 👍🏻 It's considerate for those who occasionally prefer not to speak on the phone. 😆 I was also lucky to find availability by booking the night before. ✌🏻
The interior features a high-contrast red and blue color scheme, creating a bright and lively atmosphere. The staff member is an elder (not sure if calling her auntie would be impolite) who not only thoroughly informs us about various promotional offers but also checks in occasionally to see if we want to refill our side dishes (which are free to refill). The service attitude is very warm and friendly. ❤️

I happened to see the table next to us celebrating a birthday. I checked and found out that currently, birthday guests can receive a "frying drink" (one alcoholic/non-alcoholic cup) with their app coupon for dine-in consumption. This is what we call a big cup + small cup depth charge! 💣 Additionally, a robot delivers the food while singing a Korean birthday song. 🎵

After some consideration, I felt that ordering the couples package was still the best deal, just like last time. Plus, in celebration of Qixi Festival, there are no identity restrictions at the table (you don’t have to be a couple) and all grilled items can be upgraded for free to beef short ribs, which originally would require an extra charge of $199.
