Kaohsiung's prosperous tea industry has many more overseas locations than Taiwan. There may be nearly a thousand in South Korea alone. In my impression, it is relatively rare in Taiwan, and they mainly focus on overseas markets.
Sure enough, from the official website, there are only two stores in the north, and the other one is near CNR and just opened in July.
The Ximen Wuchang store is small and cooperates with a delivery platform. When ordering, I saw a lot of orders ready for delivery. The actual waiting time after ordering was not long and it was quite fast.
The store is located in a corner with a simple and compact design, and recommended items are posted on the wall. The logo is designed to feel like a seal, which is in line with the concept of its name as a tribute to the imperial court.
Unavoidably, I ordered the basic pure tea drink, sugar-free Four Seasons Spring. The tea taste is quite obvious when you drink it. It feels like it has been brewed for a long time, but it does not feel astringent. It is actually not bad, but the aftertaste is relatively small. It would go well with the milk cap. I will try it next time I come here.
