The dishes are diverse, featuring a menu-less style with about 12 different dishes. The flavors are quite good, with special sauces that use Central and South American spices, carrying a vegetable aroma and a hint of spiciness, adding refreshing and interesting textures.
The service is very good, placing importance on customer experience. After making a reservation, you can be seated smoothly. If not all guests have arrived, there is also a drinks area available for waiting.
This restaurant is very famous on various websites; if you search for well-known restaurants in Peru, this one will definitely be on the list! Sometimes, it can be a bit hard to make a reservation. The restaurant offers different styles of dining; you can choose a tasting menu, or you can go and order your favorite dishes. They also have a bar area where you can enjoy afternoon tea and drinks! But no matter which option you choose, I think it’s worth trying if you want to experience something new.
The service here is absolutely commendable; as long as you have a reservation, you can be seated smoothly upon arrival. If the reservation has a larger group and not everyone has arrived, you’ll be led to a drink area first. Overall, everything is highly valued, and I think the service is very good!
Next, the most important part— the food. We chose the tasting menu, and about 12 dishes were served. Since our group was large, some dishes were served in large portions to be shared at the table!
Personally, I think the flavor of the dishes was quite good. Some sauces were really unique, although a few of the dishes resembled Taiwanese dumplings or steamed dumplings, which might be quite special for people from other Western countries. I found them to be rather ordinary, but the sauces were still quite special. They used many spices unique to Central and South America, paired with something similar to a yogurt sauce, creating a slightly thick sauce that also had a vegetable aroma! Some sauces even had a hint of chili, which added more texture and flavor, making it a refreshing and interesting experience.
Overall, I think it was quite good, but since I have dined at many different restaurants, I would suggest that if you can’t secure a reservation smoothly, you shouldn't force yourself to change your schedule to dine here. You can always come back and try again when you think of it!
