Dickson's Fooday Food Review #242
Next up is free time in Tokyo.
Solo traveling in Tokyo until lunchtime,
Dickson of course wanted to find some ramen to eat.
This place was recommended to me by a friend from afar!
It isn't some well-known ramen shop online,
and it's quite a distance from the city center.
I specifically took a train to visit this ramen shop~~
Take a look at how much love this has! 😂😂😂
The shop itself is quite distinctive.
It's not just a simple ramen shop,
but a ramen bar.
The space inside has a lot of alcohol displayed at the back,
including various kinds of sake.
It seems there are also many customers here storing their alcohol!
If you want to do more than just eat ramen,
you can also order drinks right there!
It's quite a unique experience.
Moreover, this place also has quite a number of local residents or regulars visiting.
When I dined there on that day,
it felt like many seats nearby were occupied by elderly locals,
who came to chat and drink with the shop owners—
so I felt a strong sense of community here!
The ramen menu here is actually quite simple,
with variations based on a basic chicken broth ramen.
You can choose between salt or soy sauce flavor,
the broth can be chosen to be richer or standard,
and of course, there’s also a spicy option.
Other than that, there are options for additional toppings, etc.
So the ramen here is relatively simple and straightforward.
However, it's worth noting that the menu is only available in Japanese and English,
so when ordering, you might want to take a look at the menu first to choose which flavor of ramen you want!

⭐️ Food section
The ramen here is primarily based on a chicken broth,
which is also my preferred soup base flavor.
That day, I ordered the rich salt-flavored chicken broth ramen.
Regarding the noodles, I think they were handled well.
They use thinner noodles,
and the texture is quite nice—
not too hard or too soft.
Additionally, the ramen's broth is not overly rich or salty,
which I quite liked.
As for the toppings, they were also quite generous.
Given the price point, the slices of meat were quite large,
and there was also an egg included.
Overall, I think this bowl of ramen is above average,
matching my tastes and preferences nicely!
⭐️ Atmosphere section
The space inside isn't large,
and it has the typical feel of a ramen shop or bar.
People are sitting at the bar waiting to be served,
and some familiar faces are chatting with each other inside.
There were already people sipping drinks in the daytime!
Indeed, it gives off a ramen bar vibe!
The interior is bright and tidy,
and it has a modern aesthetic.
I felt quite comfortable dining alone,
and it seems like there's also another dining area upstairs.
When I went, there were also others coming down from upstairs.
However, I was a bit surprised that there weren't many tourists here.
Most of the people I saw were local residents,
which made for a nice dining experience!
⭐️ Service section
That day, there wasn’t any special service or chatting,
perhaps because I was a tourist 😂😂😂
So I had less to chat about with the owner~~
Due to the language barrier.
But the owner seemed very friendly,
and the main owner was happily chatting with other customers.
Hence, I felt that this place should be quite comfortable!
⭐️ Price section
You can see that the ramen here is quite affordable,
even cheaper than many ramen shops in Taiwan!!
And I think the overall style of the ramen is quite commendable.
So from the perspectives of atmosphere, service, and food flavor,
the cost-effectiveness of this ramen shop is really high!
⭐️ Overall
Although this ramen shop isn't particularly well-known online or by word of mouth,
I think it’s a well-known and very distinctive local bar ramen shop!
Although it's a bit away from the city center and lively areas,
I think if you’re passing through this place by train,
you should definitely stop by to try it!
And I've heard that at night it transforms into a bar!
So you can also come back here to check it out in the evening!
