"Homey's Cafe" is located near Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, just a 4-minute walk from Exit 3. It's hidden on the second floor of a seemingly ordinary old apartment, and if you don't look closely, you might have trouble finding the entrance.

This café has quite a distinctive character, with dim yellow lighting and tasteful music playing. The space inside is quite spacious, and there's a balcony area for smokers.

We were seated in the sofa area that you can see right when you enter, which can accommodate more than four people, while the rest of the seating mainly consists of two-person tables.

The business is thriving, closing at 11 PM, and even though we arrived at 9:30, the place was almost full.

The staff have quite a unique personality; while they may not smile a lot, they also don't come off as unfriendly. Plus, they don't charge a service fee and even brought us plain water, which I thought was really nice!

Hot Latte $160
It's quite a large cup, tasting strongly of coffee with a lighter milk flavor. It's not my favorite style, which usually has a richer milk flavor, but it is still smooth and okay to drink.

Hot Ceylon Uva Milk Tea $180
The milk tea comes in a teapot, with a small teacup provided for self-serving, which helps keep it warm. It feels like it's brewed in a pot, and the flavor is incredibly rich and fragrant. It's very impressive, and I will definitely want to order this again next time.

It's hidden deep in the secret apartment
It's as hard to find as Harry Potter's wine and three-quarter platform.

It's not your typical Wenqing cafe
But the environment is even more charming than an ordinary Wenqing cafe.

A little artistic taste of literary youth
A bit of a yuppie way of going your own way
A little homely wood warmth
Another deep smell of vicissitudes of life...

Bookshelf full of old books
A row of aging old records
Orange warm wall
An afternoon space suitable for both solitude and chatting...

It’s hard to imagine that such a cafe exists in Taipei.

The espresso tonic in every coffee shop probably tastes the same.
But the cup enjoyed quietly at Homey’s Cafe
But it made me recall it over and over again.

👉 Black tea pound cake: It’s a delicious pound cake. I want to order tiramisu next time. The tiramisu on the next table looks so strong.
👉 Crowds: Went there on a weekend afternoon and it was almost full.
👉 Environment: Because there are smoking seats on the balcony, it is said that the smell will drift in, so you need to consider it (but no one smoked on the day I ate)
